°”TV Continuing and Professional Education (formerly °”TV Extension) announced a new home for its Sacramento classrooms: One Capitol Mall (Suite 260).
Classes will begin meeting in the new location on Monday, July 15; until then, classes will continue to meet at Midtownâs Sutter Square Galleria, beside the westbound lanes of the Capital City Freeway (Business 80). Continuing and Professional Education classes in other locations, including the °”TV campus, will be unaffected by the move.
One Capitol Mall, an eight-story office building with on-site parking, sits at the foot of the boulevard connecting the Tower Bridge and the state Capitol.
Susan Catron, dean of Continuing and Professional Education, described One Capitol Mall as iconic. âIt reflects the energy and vision of Sacramento and inspires achievement. Itâs perfect for teaching the working professionals we serve.â
Continuing and Professional Education has 13 classrooms in its new Sacramento home, in space formerly occupied by Drexel University. One Capitol Mall also formerly housed the °”TV Graduate School of Managementâs Sacramento part-time MBA program.
One Capitol Mall is a temporary stop in Continuing and Professional Educationâs long-term transition to , the °”TV innovation hub now being planned for the Sacramento campus. °”TV has put out a call to developers who might be interested in financing, designing, building, owning and managing the projectâs first phase.
âWe look forward to our permanent home at Aggie Square,â Catron said. âBut, in the meantime, One Capitol Mall is an ideal location to teach, to learn and to transform the lives and careers of our students.â
Continuing and Professional Education moved into the Sutter Square Galleria in March 1996 and had space in the old Downtown Plaza mall before that.
