The °µTV Big Bang! Business Competition will celebrate its 20th anniversary this week with, what else? ... a Big Bang! that will feature $100,000 in prize money and a Peopleās Choice Award winner chosen through online voting.
The competition, organized by the , Graduate School of Management, promotes innovations in food and agriculture, health, energy and technology.
In conjunction with this yearās switch to an online finale, the Big Bang! organizers have posted pitch videos by the 16 finalists (in a normal year, people vote in person). for the $10,000 Peopleās Choice Award; the voting deadline is noon this Wednesday (May 20).
The winners in all categories will be announced at the awards show, 6 p.m. Wednesday on .
The competition, open to the public, drew teams this year from across °µTV, as well as from the Sacramento region and throughout California, the nation and the world.
